THE GOAL:
TelespondUSA’s primary goal is to generate leads of/appointments with business owners who have expressed an interest in:
- The business owner considering selling their business or willing to discuss the process
- IN PERSON APPOINTMENTS: All our standard scripts have as their first goal our operator attempting to arrange an in person appointment, on a specific day and time, for an agent from your agency.
- PHONE APPOINTMENTS: All our standard scripts have, as a second goal, our operator attempting to arrange for the business owner to be available at a specific day and time, for an agent from your agency to phone the business owner to discuss selling his/her business. During this phone appointment, your agent then arranges an in-person appointment
with the business owner.
- "SEND LIT" LITERATURE REQUEST LEADS: All our standard scripts have, as another goal, our operator asking the business owner to accept your sending the owner literature from your agency about your services. These “send lit” leads allow our operators to discover for you the business owners who want more information.
Over the years, our business brokerage clients report to us that they’ve received more listings, and more sales, from the “send lit” leads, than from all the other seller leads combined.
We know that’s true because we know that many business owners, although interested in more information about selling their business, and truly motivated to sell under the right circumstances, are understandably “coy” or “non-committal” during a telemarketing call, but end up being highly list-able when a talented agent follows up later.

For that reason, we use operators who have pleasing voices and accents, and who make a “soft” (non confrontational/low pressure) presentation during each call.
TelespondUSA, knowing that many folks dislike receiving calls from “automatic dialing” devices, has motivated us to “direct dial” every call, so that when the recipient of the call answers, they instantly are having a conversation with our operator, not with a machine. And, the quality of the listening/talking equipment our operators use is first class. All that is to create a call event that maximizes the chances of

TelespondUSA, having specialized in providing telemarketing services for business brokerages for years, has a keen understanding of the challenges and needs of it’s business brokerage agency clients. Accordingly, we have created several calling list options, that you may choose from, including:
SELECT BY GEOGRAPHIC PREFERENCE:You may choose a calling list of businesses within any 3-digit US Postal Sectional Center (Sectional Centers are the first 3 digits of a zip code). Most Sectional Centers cover an area of approximately one or two counties. You may obtain a list of Sectional Centers from the US Post Office.
Or, when you contact TelespondUSA, we will be happy to provide you with a Sectional Center map of your area, and any nearby areas, including a population count for each of those Sectional Centers, according to the most recent census. We also provide you with a count on the total number of businesses available in the call lists you choose for us to use.

TELESPONDUSA STANDARD SCRIPTS: Since TelespondUSA has been providing telemarketing services for business brokerages for many years, we’ve developed standard scripts that have proven to be dignified, professional and effective, including
“FREE EVALUATION” SCRIPT: This script emphasizes that the agency provides a free evaluation/pricing for the business owner, and is used when we are calling on behalf of a brokerage that does not charge for evaluations or
“NO MENTION OF EVALUATION” SCRIPT: This script does not talk about an evaluation/pricing, and is used for those agencies that might charge a fee for evaluations, and/or for those agencies that do not perform evaluations/pricings.
YOUR SCRIPT: We are happy to use a script provided by your agency, if you request that option. Of course, we reserve the right to review and approve any script provided by our clients.

- WHO WE’RE CALLING ON BEHALF OF: When you order telemarketing from TelespondUSA, you will tell us a “key person” name, of someone in your office (usually the office owner or sales manager), and that name is the one our operators will use when we call business owners on your behalf.
So, our operator’s opening line, in our standard script, is…”Hello, this is (operator). I’m calling on behalf of (your key person’s name). Is (the business owner’s name) available?”...Even if you have a multi agent office, our operators will call “on behalf of” that key person in your office, and all leads and appointments will be transmitted by TelespondUSA to your office with that key person’s name shown on the lead.
You then can distribute the leads to whichever agent(s) you choose for follow up. This eliminates our having to teach our operators all the names of all the agents that work in all the business brokerages we telemarket for. And, by “calling on behalf of” a specific person, rather than just on behalf of your agency, we’ve found that we “get through” (past the “gatekeepers”) to more owners, therefore we generate more leads/appointments for your office.
Also, the business owners we call appreciate that we don’t mention your agency’s name to their employees (gatekeepers) when we call, but only disclose to the business OWNER the name of your agency and the fact that you are business brokers, once we reach the business owner by phone.
- TELEMARKETING ON BEHALF OF YOUR AGENTS: If, in fact, you prefer that we perform telemarketing services for a specific agent (or agents) in your office, you will simply turn in to TelespondUSA a separate purchase order for each agent, and render separate payment to TelespondUSA for each agent for whom telemarketing is ordered.
Some of our business brokerage agency clients prefer that each agent pay for their own telemarketing, and receive the leads there from, rather than all the leads/appointments being paid for by the agency, and rather than all the leads/appointments being transmitted to the agency owner/manager.
- TelespondUSA can set up a separate account for each agent who forwards pre-payment to us, and, when we complete the telemarketing for that agent, we will then show that agent’s name on those leads/appointments, so that, when they arrive at your office, your administrative staff can distribute each agent’s leads to them.
- Or, TelespondUSA can email each agent’s leads/appointments directly to their individual email address. When we are telemarketing for individual agents, our script says that we are
- “calling on behalf of (agent’s name)" , instead of on behalf of the agency owner’s/manager’s name. When we reach the business owner we would still mention the name of your agency, as well as mentioning the agent’s name, by saying…”I’m calling on behalf of (agent’s name), with (name of your agency)…”.
You may also halt the telemarketing at any time, and restart the remainder of the time you’ve purchased, “on demand”, at your convenience. That way, if you receive too many leads/appointments in too short a period of time, you can temporarily stop the telemarketing until your office “catches up”, then you can re-start the telemarketing when you’re ready. This great option is often referred to as being able to “turn the
lead faucet on or off”, according to the needs of your office.
